    Thirteen Vietnamese war orphans who have been receiving medical car and job training at a special peace village in Oberhausen, West Germany, are returning to South Vietnam on June 20.

    The children--some of them severely handicapped with be the first group of the 80 children at Oberhausen to return home. On return they will work at a medical aid centre and orthopaedic work shop at Dalat in South Vietnam. The D??? centre is financed by the same German towns churches and organisations that are paying for the peace village at Oberhausen.

    A doctor from Remscheid, West Germany, a German master mechanic and other Vietnamese and German Staff will run the Dalat centre which was completed this year. The charity organisers hope to increase the size of the centre and return all the children from Uberhausen. They also hope the Vietnamese will eventually run the whole centre themselves.

    The older children at Oberhausen have received job training as technicians, carpenters, locksmiths and in other trades. The peace village at Oberhausen costs 1,000,000 Deutschmarks (about 183,000 pounds sterling) a year to run.
