THE MOROCCAN CHAMPION, MOHAMED EL GHAZI, WAS THIRD IN 30 MINUTES 6 SECONDS.

    AMONG THE TEAMS TAKING PART IN THE RACE WERE REPRESENTATIVES OF MOROCCO, TUNIS, WEST GERMANY, FRANCE, IVORY COAST, AMERICA, BELGIUM, AND ITALY. TUNIS WERE WINNERS TOO OF THE TEAM EVENT, SCORING 38 POINTS. MOROCCO WERE SECOND WITH 40 POINTS, WEST GERMANY 146, U.S.A. 157, BELGIUM 158, FRANCE 213, ITALY 237, AND THE IVORY COAST 338. THE EVENT WAS RUN IN COLD, WET AND WINDY WEATHER AT THE SOUISSI COURSE.
