    Four men and one woman accused of sabotaging a bridge near Katanga, in Congo-Kinshasa, were presented to members of the press in Kinshasa yesterday (Thursday). The five have also been accused of sabotaging a high tension cable.

    The Minister for Information brought the five into the studios of Cong-Kinshasa Television. The administrator in chief of national security, Colonel Singa, was also present.

    The accused answered questions from the journalists and were interviewed for televisions news programmes.

    The four men, named Dumont, Lahaye, Thibault and Van Oudenhaeghe are accused of conspiring with Mme Savant to blow up the bridge in Katanga.

    Later the President of the Republic of Congo-Kinshasa, President Mobutu, answered more questions concerning the case.

    With him at the conference were Mr. Kande, Mr. Tshisekedi, and the Minister of the Interior and Mr. Bomboko, foreign affairs minister.
