CU Mr. Awad speaking in English
AWAD: "It might be enough to mention that more than one hundred thousand Palestinians entered the Israeli prisons after the occupation, and that more than five thousand are still imprisoned in overcrowded old prisons, in small dirty cells and submitted to the most brutal kinds of torture, which resulted in the fact that more than fifty martyrs fell under, condemned under, as a result of this torture. In addition two hundred and thirty thousand were submitted to interrogation by the Israeli interrogators. This terrorist policy did not stand any limit, it covered all the life aspects in the occupied Palestinian land and incarnated as a deliberate policy aiming at encircling the Palestinians and pushing them to depart and desert their homeland for the new Zionist settlers. The dimension of racial discrimination are manifested and completed by the stands in support and strong relations between Israel from one side and the racial regimes in Rhodesia and South Africa on the other side. According to this, it must be concluded that the Israeli policy supported by the American Imperialism and allied with it is the main reason of tension and wars in this area."
