    IN VARIOUS PARTS OF THE COUNTRY, SYMPATHY FOR THE NEGRO GIRLS IS BEING EXPRESSED IN POSITIVE FORMS.IN MASSACHUSETTS, THE CAPE COD COUNCIL OF CHURCHES ASKED MEMBER CHURCHES TO TOLL MOURNING BELLS FOR THE DEAD GIRLS.IN NASHVILLE, NEGROES PREPARED A SILENT SYMPATHY MARCH.SALES STAFF OF 2,000 STORES IN NEW YORK PLANNED BRIEF MEMORIAL SERVICES.A NUMBER OF CLERGYMEN HAVE ADVISED THEIR NEGRO CONGREGATIONS TO REMAIN COOL.
