Background: The sixteenth International Trade Fair in Casablanca was opened April 28 by two kings - King Mohammed V of Morocco and King Hussein of Jordan, now on a State visit to Morocco. At the opening - accompanied by heavy rainfall, were Crown Prince Moulay Hassan and Prince Moulay Abdullah.
Open till May 15, the Fair is dominated by agricultural and industrial machinery, although many consumer good are also on view. Both Western and Communist countries have made a big effort to put on large and attractive displays. Altogether over 20 nations are taking part, among them Communist China and several Arab countries.
