    c) the recording may not be used wholly or in part fter the Christmas season without prior application to the Queen's Press Secretary."
    In her Christmas message this year, Britain's Queen Elizabeth II is referring at length to the current economic difficulties facing the British people in particular.

    The latter part of her speech -- from which this extract is serviced -- concentrates almost exclusively on Britain's present difficulties, with only a passing reference to the Commonwealth.

    Her message calls for an end to gloomy speculation on coming economic disasters, and for the British people to unite against adversity:
