    Captain Don Henry of Detroit says he plans to lead the biggest marine salvage operation ever attempted, the refloating of the sunken Italian liner, the Andrea Doria. The Doria went down off the United States east coast near Nantucket Island, in nineteen fifty six. She now lies in about two hundred and twenty five feet of water. Captain Henry says he expects to realize close to thirty million dollars from the salvage job. He believes there is close to half that amount in gold, jewels, money and bonds in the ship, and he plans to sell the refloated hull for fifteen million dollars. His plan is built around unique method of raising the vessel. He's going to pump it full of liquid styrofoam until it floats to the surface. He's now in Toronto, Canada, negotiating for an ocean -going tug and intends to hire a Canadian crew before setting out for New York on the nineteenth of September.
