    SPECTACULAR HIGHLIGHT OF THE FIGHT, WHICH ENDED IN THE FOURTH ROUND, WAS IN ROUND TWO, WHEN AFTER TAKING A COUNT OF SIX FOLLOWING A SHARP HOOK FROM PAPP, MULLER AGAIN FELL VICTIM TO A PAPP HOOK AND WAS KNOCKED THROUGH THE ROPES, BUT THE END-OF-ROUND GONG SAVED HIM.

    WHEN THE TWO BOXERS MET IN SEPTEMBER IN COLOGNE, MULLER WAS FORCED TO RETIRE WITH A CUT EYE IN THE EIGHTH ROUND. PAPP, NOW 35 YEARS OLD, IS HOPING FOR A CRACK AT THE EUROPEAN MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE.
