Father Christmas is visiting Accra, the Ghanaian capital. Children are enjoying various festivities and their parents are on a season's shopping spree.

SYNOPSIS: A special children's theatre programme has been arranged at the city's Arts Centre, and pupils of the Sempeh Six and Seven Middle Schools are performing a series of traditional Ghanaian dances. This dance is called Kpalongo.

Girls from the James Town Middle School have staged another performance: The Birth of Christ. Here the Wise Men just arrived to worship the child Jesus and present him with gifts....
Of course -- there is also a lot of carol singing.

In Accra's Liberty Avenue the Kingsway stores have organised a Christmas fair. While their parents are busy shopping, the young ones enjoy the ride.
