The Algerian soccer season reached its climax on Monday (20 June) when the J.S. Kawkabi (JSK) and N.A. Hussein Dey (NAHD) teams met in the final of the Algerian Cup final. It was NAHD who took the early lead but JSK fought back to score two quick goals.
SYNOPSIS: JSK -- playing in the light shirts -- kicked off. And they didn't waste much time putting pressure on the NAHD goal.
Then in the 27th minute, NAHD broke away and striker Fergani was there to finish the move and put Hussein Day ahead.
JSK restarted the match but soon lost possession. Cheered on by the home crowd, NAHD, were on the attack. But a mistake gave the ball to JSK and the home team were struggling to get back to defensive positions. JSK's right-back Larbes came through to score the equalising goal.
NAHD kicked off but only three minutes later it was JSK who were putting the pressure on. And this time it was Douadi who scored. All three goals came in the first half and tight playing after half time kept the score that way. JSK two, NAHD one.
