    Major General and Commander General of Melilla Manuel Fernández Silvestre (1871-1921), second from the right, killed in Annual on July 22, 1921, walking through the Hernández Park in Melilla sometime prior to that date. He walks with Rafael Fernández de Castro (1883-1952), in civilian clothes, journalist, historian and chronicler of Melilla, and his three assistants: Pedro Hernández, first from left, secretary to General Silvestre; Tulio López Ruiz (1877-1936), second from left, lieutenant colonel of Infantry; and Enrique Manera Valdés (1872-1921), first from right, lieutenant colonel of Cavalry, killed in Annual.
