    THE DEMONSTRATION WAS PART OF A WEEK-LONG CAMPAIGN TO MARK THE OPENING ON MONDAY (28 OCTOBER) OF THE U.N. DEBATE ON CYPRUS.

    THE WOMEN CARRIED PLACARDS CALLING FOR JUSTICE FROM THE U.N.

    THEY SAT DOWN OUTSIDE THE GREEK EMBASSY TO LISTEN TO A SPEECH BY THE GREEK AMBASSADOR, MR. MICHAEL DOUNTAS. LATER THEY MARCHED TO THE PRESIDENTIAL PALACE, WHERE THEY WERE ADDRESSED BY PRESIDENT CLERIDES.
