    Leaders of the Mauritanian People's Party heard a call for an intensified struggle against colonialism as Africa Day was celebrated in Nouakchott on Tuesday (May 25). The party's Permanent Secretary Ahmed ould Mouhamed Saleh, speaking to ministers and fellow members of the National Political Bureau, called for the complete liberation of the continent.

    SYNOPSIS: Mauritanian ministers, members of the National Political Bureau and of the Mauritanian People's Party packed the party's headquarters in Nouakchott on Tuesday during celebrations of Africa Day. A thousand of the country's leading political figures crowded into the hall and were reminded that their head of state, President Moktar ould Daddah witnessed the beginnings of the historic anniversary in Addis Ababa in 196???.

    Permanent Secretary Ahmed ould Mouhamed Saleh of the People's Party was the principal speaker. He renewed the call for all freedom loving people to pursue the struggle against the force of colonialism on the continent. This struggle, he added, would never be concluded until the whole of Africa had been liberate???
