    A LEADING OFFICIAL IN TOKYO'S RED CROSS, MR DURAND WAS PLACED AT THE DISPOSAL OF U THANT AFTER THE UNITED NATION'S SECRETARY GENERAL'S REQUEST FOR THE NETHERLANDS TO RELEASE THE INDONESIAN PRISONERS.
