IN RECENT WEEKS A NUMBER OF ATTACKS HAVE BEEN LAUNCHED BY BANDITS ON MISSION STATIONS IN THE PROVINCE. RESULTING IN THE DEATHS OF A NUMBER OF PRIESTS.

    NIGERIAN TROOPS OF THE U.N. FORCE HAVE BEEN FLOWN TO TSHIKAPA. OPERATIONAL HEADQUARTERS FOR THE EVACUATION OPERATION. FROM THERE THEY'LL BE FLOWN IN TWO HELICOPTERS TO TROUBLE SPOTS TO COVER FURTHER EVACUATIONS.

    AT LEOPOLDVILLE, THE MISSIONARIES TOLD OF THEIR EXPERIENCES FOLLOWING THE ATTACK ON THE MISSION. ONE MISSIONARY.
