    TEN FINALISTS WERE SELECTED AND, FROM THESE, THE JUDGES CHOSE MISS LONDON AIRPORT 1968, MISS TRANS WORLD AIRLINES, CAROL MARSHALL, AN ENGLISH GIRL FROM BUCKINGHAMSHIRE. THIS IS HER FOURTH ATTEMPT AT THE TITLE.

    MISS PAN AMERICAN AIRWAYS, SALLY STONE WAS SECOND AND THE AUSTRALIAN AIRLINE'S REPRESENTATIVE, MISS QANTAS, JENNIFER BUSBRIDGE, WAS THIRD.

    THE WINNER'S SASH WAS PRESENTED BY MISS LONDON AIRPORT 1966, CLAIRE KAASIK, OF AIR FRANCE.
