Background: A 27 member Chinese team led by the Chairman of the Chinese Shooting Association is currently in Japan on a three-day goodwill visit.
SYNOPSIS: The first day's competition began on Friday (12 November) at the Asaka Olympic Shooting Range near Tokyo. There were 29 members in the Japanese team. Before competition started there was a courtesy exchange of pennants between the two teams.
Chinese teams have won an impressive array of victories in Asian competition during the past three years.
