    TODAY.....HERE IN NEW YORK.....TWO FORMER FREEDOM FIGHTERS (SINCE EMIGRATED TO THE UNITED STATES).........

    .....DRESSED IN RUSSIAN PRISON UNIFORMS.....CHAINED THEMSELVES TO A CAMPPOST IN FRONT OF U-N HEADQUARTERS.....ON FIRST AVENUE.

    THE SECOND ANNIVERSARY OF THE HUNGARIAN REVOLT PASSED QUIETLY IN BUDAPEST TODAY. THE POLICE GUARD AROUND THE UNITED STATES LEGATION WAS INCREASED, BUT THERE WAS NO DISTURBANCE.

    IN NEW YORK, HUNGARIAN REFUGEES CHAINED THEMSELVES TO A LIGHT POLE OUTSIDE U.N. HEADQUARTERS TO DRAMATIZE THE FLIGHT OF THEIR COUNTRY. THEY WORE PRISON CLOTHES TO SUGGEST THE ENSLAVEMENT OF THEIR HOMELAND.

    MORE HUNGARIANS DEMONSTRATED TO-NIGHT OUTSIDE THE SOVIET U.N. HEADQUARTERS ON PARK AVENUE. THERE WERE NO DISTURBANCES.
