Background: The Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Abdul Razak, is visiting Yugoslavia. He arrived in Belgrade on Monday and had talks with Mr. Miso Pavicevic, Vice-President of the Federal Executive Council of Yugoslavia. Tun Abdul Razak has also had talks with President Tito and with the Prime Minister of Yugoslavia, Mr. Mytya Ribicic.
On his arrival in Belgrad, Tun Abdul Razak said that his government was interested in increasing cooperation with Yugoslavia. He was impressed he said, by the development of Yugoslavia and by her role among the non-aligned nations. He emphasised President Tito's great contribution to this role. At the talks between Tun Abdul Razak and Mr. Pavicevic, the Malaysian and Yugoslav delegations exchanged views on international problems and confirmed their wish for further economic cooperation between their two countries.
