    THE COURSE IS FOR SERVICEMEN'S WIVES WITH CHILDREN UNDER TWO AND A HALF YEARS.

    SEVERAL HUNDRED WOMEN ATTENDED THE LECTURES, AND WATCHED DEMONSTRATIONS ON WASHING AND CARING FOR BABIES.

    PRIVATE COMPANIES AND VARIOUS GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES ASSISTED IN THE COURSE.

    MRS J. NUNOO, WIFE OF THE GHANAIAN POLICE COMMISSIONER, OPENING THE COURSE, SAID IT WAS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF PARENTS TO CREATE CONGENIAL SURROUNDINGS AT HOME AND IN THE COMMUNITY GENERALLY FOR THEIR CHILDREN.

    THE WIFE OF A POLICE SUPERINTENDENT, MRS G. DANQUAH, WON AN AWARD IN A BABY COMPETITION CONDUCTED AT THE END OF THE COURSE.
