Background: A group of mountaineers of Barcelona makes its way to the peak of Les Agudes in the Montseny at 1600 m. altitude, to install there a Creche made by the Asociacion de Pesebristas of Barcelona. The Creche is exhibited in several sites on the way.
Seven teams take part in this march sponsored by the Delegation of Information and Tourism. Thus does the Catalonian sportsmen give proof of their faith and fervour.
The last relay is in Santa Fe from where the peak of the Montseny is reached, there where St. Anthony Mary Claret erected a cross.
The representation of the Birth of Christ is placed in a sort of niche to protect it from the raw weather. This small Christmas retable has been made by Don Ramon Pedrosa and constitutes a delicate note in the Yuletide celebrations of Catalonia.
