    PRIME MINISTER PAPANDREOU GREETED THE KING AND QUEEN, AFTER INSPECTING THE GUARD OF HONOUR, THE ROYAL COUPLE ATTENDED A COMMEMORATION SERVICE. IT WAS HELD IN ST. DEMETRIUS CATHEDRAL, NAMED AFTER THE PATRON SAINT OF SALONIKA.

    AFTERWARDS, THE KING, IN A GENERAL'S UNIFORM, SALUTED A PARADE OF THE ARMED FORCES. IT INCLUDED HEAVY TANKS AND GUNS AND HONEST JOHN MISSILES.
