THE 68-YEAR-OLD ACTOR HAS BEEN IN EAST AFRICA FOR SEVERAL MONTHS FILMING "SAMMY GOING SOUTH". HE WAS FLOWN TO HOSPITAL IN NAIROBI, KENYA, WHERE HE IS SAID TO BE IMPROVING.

    A FEW HOURS BEFORE THE HEART ATTACK THE ACTOR TALKED AND JOKED WITH JOURNALISTS AND CAMERAMEN WHO HAD TRAVELLED TO MOMELLA WITH THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL OF TANGANYIKA, SIR RICHARD TURNBULL, WHO WATCHED SEVERAL SCENES BEING SHOT.

    WHEN WORK WAS OVER FOR THE DAY GOVERNOR TALKED TO MR ROBINSON FOR SOME TIME ABOUT THE MOTION PICTURE BUSINESS.
