    THE DUTCH FOREIGN MINISTER, DR. JOSEPH LUNS, A STAUNCH SUPPORTER OF EARLY BRITISH ENTRY INTO THE COMMON MARKET, OPENED DAY-LONG DISCUSSIONS IN LONDON TODAY (5 DECEMBER) WITH BRITAIN'S FOREIGN SECRETARY, MR. GEORGE BROWN.

    THEIR TALKS FOLLOW THE DISCUSSIONS YESTERDAY (MONDAY), BETWEEN M. JEAN REY, THE BELGIAN PRESIDENT OF THE MARKET'S EXECUTIVE COMMISSION, MR. BROWN, AND PRESIDENT MINISTER HAROLD WILSON. BOTH BRITISH AND DUTCH MINISTERS CALLED ON MR. WILSON THIS MORNING FOR A SHORT VISIT TO THEIR TALKS.

    BRITISH OFFICIALS EMPHASISED TO M. REY, AND ARE REITERATING TO DR. LUNS, THAT THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN FRENCH-SPONSORED IDEAS OF ASSOCIATION STATUS, BUT WANT FULL MEMBERSHIP FOR BRITAIN.

    DR. LUNS, WHO FLEW HERE YESTERDAY, WILL RETURN TO THE HAGUE TOMORROW (WEDNESDAY).
