    ABOUT 200 NEGROES STAGING A DEMONSTRATION MARCH ON TWO SEGREGATED RESTAURANTS, WERE ATTACKED BY A GROUP OF STONE-THROWING WHITE YOUTHS.LATER A SHOT WAS FIRED INTO THE HOME OF A NASHVILLE NEGRO LEADER, MR.H.E.BRADEN.

    FOLLOWING THE STREET FIGHT, TWO PEOPLE WERE TAKEN TO HOSPITAL.FIVE OTHERS, FOUR NEGROES AND A WHITE YOUTH, WERE ARRESTED BY POLICE.THE DEMONSTRATIONS CAME WHILE WHITE AND NEGRO LEADERS IN NASHVILLE WERE NEGOTIATING TO SOLVE THE CITY'S RACIAL PROBLEMS.
