    The matches are for the "Prudential Trophy" and the winner of each receives GBP1,000 in prize money.

    In Thursday, match, held at Old Trafford in Manchester, Australia batted first and when their allotted 55 overs were up, they'd scored 222. England's batsmen took a firm hold and had little difficulty in scoring the runs to win the match.
