    THEY WERE FOUND BY POLICE RECENTLY IN THE MUNICH HOME OF A FORMER GERMAN SOLDIER WHO KEPT THEM IN A DRAWER.POLICE ARE STILL HUNTING FOR THREE MORE PAINTINGS FROM THE SAME HAUL, MISSING FROM TWO FAMOUS FLORENTINE ART GALLERIES, THE UFFIZI AND THE GALERIA PALATINA.

    THE FIVE PAINTINGS, HANDED OVER CEREMONIALLY TODAY BY HERR DIETER SATTLER, HEAD OF THE WEST GERMAN CULTURAL DEPARTMENT, ARE: A SELF-PORTRAIT BY LORENZO DI CREDI (16TH CENTURY); THE CRYPT (16TH CENTURY SCHOOL OF CORREGGIO); THE PARABLE OF THE VINE DRESSER BY DEMONICO FETI; BRONZINO (16TH CENTURY) AND THE ANNUNCIATION (17TH CENTURY).
