SYNOPSIS: In North Vietnam, villagers stumble amongst the rubble that was once two hundred homes... homes destroyed during a B-52 bombing raid that took place even as talks of peace continued.......

The North Vietnamese say twenty people died in the raid. and they've accused the Americans of dropping forged banknotes in an attempt to disrupt the country's economy.

One villager told how his wife and daughter due to marry a few days later were among those killed in the raid.

A large area was completely flattened in the attack -- and one bomb alone made a crater sixty feet across. The raid also caused damage to the dikes that are all important to the village's rice crop.
