    Following annual trade talks, which ended on the 24th of October, India and Czechoslovakia have signed agreements for trade in 1973.

    The agreement was signed by Mr Shah, from India's Ministry of Foreign Trade, and Mr Ivan Peter, the Czechoslovakian Deputy Prime Minister of Foreign Trade. The signing was watched by India's Minister of Foreign Trade, Mr Mishra, and the Deputy prime Minister of Czechoslovakia, Mr Gregor. The agreement provides for a continuing trade in traditional items, but next year India will also export ready-made clothes, machinery, pipes, cosmetics and detergents. In return Czechoslovakia will sell tractor spare, machine tools, steel and steel products, newsprint and printing equipment.
