    The Kenyans scored a goal in each half, through Madegwa and Ouma.

    They held Pakhtaker to a one-all draw in the first match of the series, but the Soviet team won the second one-nil.

    The final match of the series was an easy win of the Kenyana, with the Soviet team under pressure moot of the Time.

    SYNOPSIS: The Soviet Ambassador in Nairobi Mr. D.P. Goryunev turned out far a sporting occasion on Friday, when the visiting Soviet soccer team Pakhtaker played the Kenyan national team. Accompanied by the President of the Kenya Football Association, the Ambassador met the member of beth teams on the pitch before the start. This was the visiting Soviet team's third match in a series against the Kenyans, and the Kenyans were one match down in the previous two games. Pakhtaker were held 1-1 by the kenyans in the first sated, but the Soviet team won the second one-mil.

    Play in this game was for better than in the previous meetings between the two sides, and the Kenyans turned in some fine man-to-man soccer. The Soviet team were dominated for much of the match, and found it hard to get into the game. It was no surprise when Medogav put the Kenyans ahead after half on hour with a half-volleyed shot from the edge of the penalty area. Then with ten minutes to go in the second half, Peter ??? got a second goal for the Kenyans, giving them a fine win and a tie in the series.
