Background: French film actress Brigitte Bardot, is still under observation in a clinic in Nice, Sept 30, recovering from an overdose of sleeping tablets. The actress was found drugged at Menton, Sept 28. Her wrists were cut but not every seriously.
Scores of reporters and wellwishers are waiting outside the clinic for news of her condition. The chief neurologist said the film actress was out of danger and it was expected she would be able to see her parents later in the evening. All other visitors have been barred.
One of the doctors stated as yet there was no news from her husband Jacques Charrier. The last news of him said he was rushing from Biarritz, where he has been on holiday, to his wife's bedside.
