One of the events of Soviet Premier Khrushchev's visit last week in Indonesia was a reception in Djakarta, Feb 26. It was given at the Russian Embassy in honour of Indonesia's President Sukarno, who was received by Charge d'Affaires Kuznetsov in the absence of Soviet Ambassador Volkov, officially said to be ill when he unexpectedly returned to Moscow Feb 21.
Premier Khrushchev presented the President with another reminder of Russia's space exploits - a silver lunik replica. Others at the reception were Indonesian Foreign Minister Subandrio, and General Nasution, Commander in Chief of the Indonesian Army.
The Soviet leader's 12-day tour, which began Feb 18, ended with the signing in Bogor, Java, Feb 28, of new agreements for Russian aid to Indonesia, similar to those signed with India during Premier Khrushchev's recent Indian tour. Russian economic help for Indonesia will now be nearly as great as American assistance.
