The Japanese Defence Agency in Tokyo... one of four bomb targets on Monday. Two youths threw petrol bombs and later a left wing organisation called Chukal??? claimed it was responsible in Okinawa.
Security forces at the Defence Agency recorded the attack on a closed-circuit television system.
Only one of the two youths who threw petrol bombs appeared within the camera's range.
Later a youth was arrest by police after he was seized by passersby.
The attack on the Defence Agency occurred simultaneously with two other attacks. None caused injuries.
At the attack Tokyo International Airport, attackers threw fire bomb at the Japan Airlines' hangar. The Chukakuhe said the attackers ere to protest the opening on Sunday of the Okinawa International Ocean Exposition and the planned visit by Crown Prince Akihito.
Petrol bombs were also thrown at the headquarters of the Mitsubishi Oil Company. The left wing group said it was also protesting Japanese economic interest in Korea and the presence of United States military bases in Okinawa. Later petrol bombs were also thrown at the U.S. military base in Tokota.
