    The Angolan Liberation Movement, UNITA (National Union for the Total Liberation of Angola) is continuing its political rallies in various parts of the country. Independence negotiations with Portugal due to start in the next few weeks.

    Recently UNITA held a meeting is Luso, 800 Kilometres (500 miles) south east of the capital, Luanda. Hundreds of Enthusiastic supporters attended the meeting, which was broken up by heavy rain.

    Leaders of the country's three liberation movements have accepted that one of their country's main problem is leadership.

    And recently, UNITA's leader Dr. Jonas Savimbi took the initiative by arranging a meeting with his former bitter rival, Dr. Agostinho Neto, leader of MPLA (Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola). They met in Lusaka for reconciliation talks this week.
