King Paul and Queen Frederika of Greece sailed from Piraeus, Greece, abroad the liner 'Agamennon' May 17 for Italy. Foreign Minister Averoff accompanied them for this coming State visit.
From Italy the Royal party will go to Switzerland where the King is to undergo an eye operation.
Political observers view this visit, that of British defence Minister Duncan Sandys to Greece this week and the recent Turkey trip by Greek Government leaders as a readjustment of Greece's foreign outlook and the Government's keenness to resume and further cement friendships.
It's thought that the Cyprus settlement has now prompted the Greek leaders to project their country as an active factor for stability in the Balkans and the eastern Mediterranean.
