    Nothing makes the Frenchman more enthusiastic about football than a match with chief rival Belgium. Their latest match in Paris Mar 15 ended in a draw - 1-1.

    In the first half, play moved quickly from one goal to the other. The pressure was about even until France - in dark shorts - made an all-out attack and inside-right Marcel (8) shot an excellent first goal into the Belgian net.

    Towards the end of an uneventful second half, left-wing Paeschen (11) scored for Belgium and the match ended 1-1.
