    THE ELEVEN STOREY HOTEL IS IN THE AVENUE DE SUFFREN, OPPOSITE THE CITY'S GREATEST LANDMARK, THE EIFFEL TOWER.

    CLASSIFIED AS A FOUR STAR HOTEL, IT HAS 492 BEDROOMS (EACH WITH TELEVISION, RADIO AND A TELEPHONE), THREE HIGH FASHION BOUTIQUES, A HAIRDRESSING SALON, AND A TRAVEL AGENCY.

    IT WAS BUILT AT A COST OF 80-MILLION FRANCS (APPROXIMATELY GBP6-MILLION STERLING).

    IT IS THE SIXTY-SEVENTH HILTON HOTEL IN THE WORLDWIDE CHAIN, AND THE TENTH BUILT IN EUROPE.

    A LITTLE OF AMERICA HAS BEEN USED IN THE DESIGN. IT HAS A RESTAURANT KNOWN AS LE WESTERN REFLECTING THE AMERICAN SOUTH-WEST, AND LE COFFEE SHOP IS FITTED WITH AN AMERICAN SODA FOUNTAIN.
