    SAILING THE YACHT "ANDROMEDA", PARRY KEPT UP A FINE AVERAGE BY ALWAYS BEING IN THE FIRST THREE FINISHERS IN THE RACES WHICH WERE RUN ON EACH OF SIX SUCCESSIVE DAYS. IN THE FINAL CLASSIFICATION HE OBTAINED 8? POINTS TO WIN THE TITLE, THE VIRGINIE HERIOT CUP, AND THE ATHENS CUP FOR THE BEST SCORE IN THE LAST THREE RACES.

    TWENTY-TWO DRAGON YACHTS, FROM 12 NATIONS, TOOK PART IN THE REGATTA, REPRESENTING SUCH COUNTRIES AS BRITAIN, FRANCE, USSR, SWEDEN AND ITALY. THE KING AND QUEEN OF GREECE WERE AMONG THE MANY SPECTATORS WHO WATCHED THE WEEK-LONG COMPETITION.
