FURTHER SUCCESS FOR THE CZECHS IN THE POLE VAULT. A JUMP OF 470 CENTIMETRES WAS SUFFICIENT FOR TOMASEK (No. 198) TO TAKE THE POINTS. IT WAS WELL BELOW HIS BEST PERFORMANCE.
