Background: Prime Minister Robert Menzies was filmed at Dusseldorf airport June 18 as he arrived from London for talks with Chancellor Adenauer on Berlin.
Australian Ambassador in Bonn Patrick Shaw and West German Chief of Protocol at the Foreign Ministry von Braun - brother of the German-born U.S. missile scientist - were there to greet the Prime Minister.
Later he had two-hour talk with the Chancellor, exchanging views on the political and economic situation in Europe and also, it is reported, on a Summit Conference.
After the talks the Prime Minister was guest of honour at a dinner given by the Chancellor. His visit was a brief one - next day June 19 he was to leave for Paris to confer with President de Gaulle.
