    THE UNITED ARAB REPUBLIC, JORDAN, SYRIAN, IRAQ, KUWAIT, TUNISIA, LEBANON AND LIBYA WERE REPRESENTED BY THEIR FOREIGN MINISTERS AT YESTERDAY'S MEETING. DELEGATIONS ALSO ATTENDED FROM MOROCCO, SUDAN, YEMEN, SAUDI ARABIA AND ALGERIA.

    THE MEETING, WHICH IS EXPECTED TO LAST ABOUT THREE DAYS, BEGAN WITH A DISCUSSION OF THE PALESTINE PROBLEM.

    AT THE JANUARY MEETING ARAB LEADER AGREED ON PLANS TO COUNTER THE ISRAELI PLAN TO DIVERT THE WATERS OF THE RIVER JORDAN. IT HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED SINCE THAT THE FOREIGN MINISTERS WOULD LAUNCH A MASSIVE DIPLOMATIC CAMPAIGN IN WORLD CAPITALS.
