TRANSCRIPT (SEQ 3): "This is Air Canada staff representative. We are now on our fifteenth day of strike and today we are holding a demonstration with all the other members of staff of other airlines to protest against the decision of Air Canada to lay off the airport staff, after one year of transfer from Orly Airport to Charles de Gaulle. We do not agree with this lay-off and we are protesting against it. And we will protest till Air Canada changes its decision and decide to keep its staff at the airport."

Background: Employees of Air Canada, supported by other airline employees, demonstrated in Paris on Wednesday (7 May) to protest against the company's decision to close its airport division.
The demonstrators pledged that they would continue to protest until Air Canada lifted its decision and reinstate those made redundant by it. About 50 workers were made redundant.
Last month a group of striking workers prevented one of the company's airliners from taking off from Riossy International Airport, near Paris.
