I am told that the success of this scheme was largely due to the voluntary house chairman who organised the collection, of which there are 180 of them here tonight, & I think they deserve our recognition & thanks. In fact (applause) It is all very well to praise the crow, but don't forget the milkmaid - she delivers the goods."
