TRANSCRIPT: MAN;Over the last six years, we've been studying now best to use the shuttle from a pay load point of view and it turns out that we feel the most cost beneficial aspect of the shuttle is it's 2-way ability....and continue to operate.



REPORTER: What does this save in the sense of dollars in space operations?



MAN: Well, for the 14 missions that we have studied from an economic point of view over the next 8 years....saving 250 million dollars.
