    King Frederik, 59, recovering from a lung ailment, was accompanied by Queen
    Ingrid; Princess Margarethe, heir to the throne; Prince Knud, the King's
    brother; other members of the Royal family; Prime Minister HC. Hansen and
    members of the Government.

    Holmens is traditionally the seaman's church. The Bishop of Copenhagen, Fulsang
    Damgard, officiated.

    At the service were two girls from Greenland who lost their father in the Hans
    Hedtoft; some 600 relatives of the victims; the master of the German trawler
    Johannes Kruss, Captain Albert Sierch, leader of the initial search for
    survivors; members of the diplomatic corps of Canada, USA, Germany, Britain and
    Iceland - the nations talking part in the air and sea search.
