    THE SIX NEW MEMBERS ARE JUDGES HARDY DILLARD (UNITED STATES), LOUIS IGNACIO-PINTO (DAHOMEY), FEDERICO DE CASTRO (SPAIN), PLATON MOROZOV (SOVIET UNION), EDUARDO DE ARECHAGA (URUGUAY), AND CHARLES ONYEAMA (NIGERIA).

    THE NEW PRESIDENT OF THE COURT, SIR MUHAMMAD ZAFRULLA KHAN OF PAKISTAN, ADDRESSING AN AUDIENCE IN THE HALL OF JUSTICE SAID THAT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE 25 YEARS OF ITS EXISTENCE THE COURT HAD DISPOSED OF ALL JUDICIAL WORK, SO THAT THERE WERE TODAY NO CASES OR REQUESTS FOR ADVISORY OPINION OUTSTANDING.

    SINCE THE FILING OF ITS FIRST CASE ON MAY 22, 1947 THE COURSE HAD GIVEN 31 JUDGEMENTS AND 13 ADVISORY OPINIONS, SIR ZAFRULLA SAID.
