    Mr. James Hagerty, US President Eisenhower's Press Secretary, arrived in New Delhi, Nov. 16, to make arrangements for the President's forthcoming visit to India, forming part of his tour of European and Asian countries.

    Press Secretary Hagerty was greeted by Mr. Beg, Chief of Protocol, and senior officials of the United States Embassy. Afterwards he explained to Press representatives the importance President Eisenhower attaches to his India visit.

    The President is due to leave America early in December and to arrive in India for a 5-day visit on Dec. 9. Afterwards he will continue his tour with visits to Persia, Greece and France.
