    EHRLICHMAN, MS AND MCU WITH REPORTERS, SAYING THAT INVESTIGATION INTO WATERGATE BY THE FBI WAS ONE OF MOST INTENSIVE IN HISTORY THAT TO HIS KNOWLEDGE, JOHN DEAN HAD CARRIED OUT A GOOD INVESTIGATION THAT TO BEST OF HIS KNOWLEDGE PRESIDENT KNEW NOTHING OF BREAK-IN(WATERGATE) BEFORE ITS OCCURRENCE.. HE WAS RELYING ON DEAN'S ASSURANCES THAT INVESTIGATION WAS BEING CARRIED OUT...THAT ALL OF THEM MUST BE CREDITED WITH JUSTIFIABLE RELIANCE ON DEAN...IT WASN'T UNTIL FEBRUARY OF 1973 THAT THEY HAD ANY REASON TO BE LIVE OTHERWISE.
