Background: N.V. Podgorny, President of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, received in Kremlin President Cevdet Sunay of Turkey. Talks took place between N.V.Podgorny and Cevdet Sunay in which participated from the Soviet side Mazurov, first Deputy Chairman of the USSR Council of Ministers, A.Gromyko, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the USSR, Patolichev, Minister of Foreign Trade of the USSR, and other officials. From the Turkish side: Ihsan Caglayangil, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Fuat Balramoglin, The Ambassador of Turkey in the USSR, and other officials. Questions about promoting neighbourly cooperation between the Soviet Union and Turkey were discussed during the talks, which were carried out in a friendly atmosphere.
Vladimir Ilyich Lenin spent the last years of his life in Gorki. People from all countries come to visit this museum-estate. Everything in this house is carefully preserved as it was during his life and work in Gorki. From this projector Lenin was shown the first Soviet newsreels and a feature film "Red Devils". Among the relics is a photo camera with which Lenin's sister Anna Ilyinichna made shots that are widely known today. These photos bring to us the image of the wisest man of our time.
"Zlata Praha" is an exhibition opened recently in Moscow, devoted to the capital of Czechoslovakia. Ludvik Cerny, the Mayor of Prague, was among the first visitors at the exhibition. About 200 photos of outstanding architectural monuments, articles from Prague museums, ancient handicraft wares are presented at the exhibition. Sculptures created in ages are carefully preserved in ancient Prague. The exhibition gives the visitors a wonderful impression of the capital of fraternal Czechoslovakia.
